PixelScrapper Blog Train – March 2015

Those of you who know me well will know I’ve been doing some scrapbooking since forever, and have made the shift to digital scrapbooking in the last several years for reasons of portability and economy. I recently joined the PixelScrapper community, and the ladies there are wonderful about encouraging each other to experiment with designing new things of their own as well as making use of pre-made elements. It’s in that spirit that I’ve joined this month’s PixelScrapper blog train with my first-ever scrapbook designs.

We’ve got a huge palette this month–38 colors in all, and here it is…

I’ve created two different downloads for you: one is of my chosen theme animal (wolves) along with matching word art, and the other is a bundle of alphas that are color-matched to the palette so they’ll be usable with anyone’s portion. Images are linked to the full-size preview so you can get a better look before deciding to download.

There are something like 27 people participating in this train this month, and most have taken one or two animals and a subset of the colors to create their portion. There are a wide variety of styles, as well, so if you’re interested in scrapping with this kit, there’s sure to be something you find beautiful. Stop by this thread at PixelScrapper to see and download all of the other portions. If you’re not a scrapper but just like looking at art, it’s worth the browse through as well.

    1. So am I, France. My sweetie was a little bummed that I was focusing on fixing my site and not on him, especially with the rare event of my roommate being out of town for 48 hours, until I pointed out that he’d be doing the exact same thing if the positions were reversed. He found a little more patience after that, but I still ended up spending most of the day on it.

  1. Love wolves!! They are such an majestic animal!! The alpha is wonderful!! I do hope you continue to get well and regain your strength!!! Thank you so very much for sharing!!!

Your links for Box are not working on the March 2015 blogtrain. I was able to get the downloads from the GoogleDrive links though. Thank you for your contribution to this cool blogtrain!

    1. After attempting to download them again myself, it appears Box has broken their download button. The files are there, they’re set to download for anyone with the link, but it’s just not actually starting the download when you press the button.

I’ll leave the Box links up in the hopes that they’ll get their issue sorted out, but this is why I did two different sets of download links.

  4. Just spotted this layout on PixelScrapper. It features the alphas above. Way to go, Brenda, and thanks for showing them off so beautifully!
